Get Your Name in Print: Write Now!

Calling all bloggers! I am gearing up for the launch of my new book, Write-A-Thon: Write Your Book in 26 Days (And Live to Tell About It)—and I need your help! I am looking for bloggers to provide guest posts before and during National Novel Writing Month. Check out what I’m looking for to see if you might have something to contribute:

*NaNoWriMo Authors. You wrote your book during NaNo and got published. Tell us what got you through NaNo, how your book moved from draft to polished product, and how you landed the big publishing deal.

*NaNoWriMo Winners. You finished your book during NaNo. How did you do it? What tools made finishing possible? What tips would you give our readers?

*NaNo Rebels. You used NaNoWriMo to write a book of poetry, a play, a text book, or some other anything-but-a-novel project. Let us know what project you completed, why you chose to do it during NaNo, and how it worked for you. You can also offer your tips for surviving NaNo.

*Fitness Gurus. You teach yoga, run marathons, or work as a certified fitness instructor. When you hear about thousands of writers sitting down for a month, you gasp: “They will ruin their health!” I’d love to hear your tips for staying fit and healthy during NaNo!

*Foodies. You know how to find and cook healthy foods that provide energy and stamina. I’d welcome your tips on what to eat during NaNo. (If it were up to me, I’d just eat chocolate!)

*Computer Geeks. You know the tools that we need to make NaNo a success. There must be apps and gadgets and sites out there to make this novel almost write itself. Right? I’d like to see a post that highlights your finds!

*Teachers. You have done NaNo in the classroom—and it rocked. Send a post that tells us what you did, how it went, and how it helped your students grow as writers.

Guidelines:

*Write a 400-800 word post that fits with one of the categories above. Be creative and offer well-written, unique advice.

*Send your complete post copied into the body of the email along with your photo, bio, and a link to your blog or website to the Write Now! Coach. Please put “NaNo Guest Post” in the subject line.

*If your blog post is chosen, you will receive an email with the date your post will appear. Please post links to the guest post on your blog, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I will be doing the same.

*We may not be able to use your blog post during the month or at all. We will do our best to acknowledge all posts and let you know if your blog post was not chosen.

Happy Writing! I look forward to reading your awesome posts.
