Overcome Writer’s Block and Write Now

with Rochelle Melander and Liesel Teversham

procrastination

Do you struggle with writer’s block?

Do you want to write a story that will transform lives,

but you feel blocked or avoid writing?

Do you put off working on your writing projects until you:

  • Know more
  • Feel less afraid
  • Are inspired
  • Have more time
  • Feel motivated

You’re not alone.

A 2017 study revealed that 70% of students experience writer’s block occasionally while 24% nearly always face it.

People who experience writer’s block:

  • Show up to write and feel like they have nothing to say.
  • Cannot think of WHAT to write about.
  • Struggle to know HOW to articulate their ideas.
  • May feel like imposters.
  • Postpone working on their writing and do busy work instead
  • Get distracted by mindless occupations (hello, Facebook!)
  • Underestimate how long it will take to do a task
  • Panic at the thought of their looming deadline
  • Have to rush to finish work on time

Here’s what clients tell us about their struggles with writer’s block:

  • I’m stuck. I don’t know where or how to start.
  • I have plenty of ideas until I get in front of the computer.
  • I feel anxious about my writing and I put it off.
  • Every time I try to write, my ADHD kicks in. I get monkey mind and can’t focus.
  • I’m afraid I’ll never finish my dream project.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

You do not have to struggle.

Overcome Writer’s Block and Write Now!

Feeling stuck, anxious, afraid when you’re about to do a big thing—that’s normal.

Most of us deal with blocks by pushing away those feelings. I know I did. But there’s a better way.

Feeling and dealing with what we’re experiencing can help us cope. And believe it or not, we’ll finally be able write.

This short course will help you deal with getting and being stuck due to writer’s block, procrastination, and fear.

And a note:  Be mindful: This is not a webinar where you can listen while you do other things. It’s a full participation workshop where we’re going to have half class-time and half EFT tapping time to address and relieve the emotional reasons for writer’s block.

Privacy is important, for everyone’s comfort and safety.

You will learn:

In Module 1: We’ll learn how to diagnose and treat the common causes of writer’s block. We’re going to use EFT (tapping) to clear out fear, anxiety, and other emotional reasons underlying writer’s block.

In Module 2: We’ll learn some quick tools to avoid writer’s block. Then we’ll use EFT (tapping) to clear out the emotional reasons underlying writer’s block. Very often we fear criticism and judgment, rejection, humiliation, and embarrassment – and all of those can contribute to finding logical reasons to put off writing.

EFT is an effective method to soothe the part of our brain that looks after our safety. If we feel unsafe, we simply won’t implement any practical strategies to get our writing done. The EFT will be fun and simple. Everyone will be able to participate in a safe, confidential way and find benefit and relief.

Here’s what it costs:

$60 US

Here’s what you get:

  • 2 75-minute recorded workshops with time to reflect and write about the year past and the year to come.
  • A worksheet to use for further reflection

When and where:

The class will be held in early 2024.
